Open Objects champions a digital approach to aid collaboration and improve outcomes
Fresh from exhibiting at the nasen Live conference in Birmingham last week (6th July) – an event aimed at education professionals and practitioners – Idox’s Open Objects has shared its views on the future of Special Educational Needs (SEN) support and Education Health and Care (EHC) planning.
Already two months on from the deadline of transitioning children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from Statements to EHC Plans, local authorities and education settings have worked tirelessly to align their processes with the reforms introduced by the Children & Families Act (2014) and the SEN Code of Practice (2014).
However, could a digital approach be what’s needed to ensure the right support is delivered at the right time to children and young people?
